Current status:

- No editable source file for the assembly manual is available in this branch.
- The current assembly manual is kept as a PDF in `gen/assembly/`.

When an editable source becomes available in the future, place it under this `doc/assembly/` folder and keep exported PDFs in `gen/assembly/`.
